The technological advancement in the area of computers and internet has enabled many multinational companies to start a new trend in job market. Many companies and organizations have started taking web-Interviews or e-Interviews as it saves time and money for both the company and the candidate appearing for a job.

                  So now the question arises what is a web-Interview or a e-Interview or what is difference between a traditional interview and e-Interview.

                   In traditional interview you have to appear physically to the place where the company or institution called you at a particular time and place.
                    Whereas in web-Interview ,you have to appear online through your personal computer or laptops having facility of web cam, mike and speaker, at a time as decided by the interviewer or the Human Resource Department of a particular company or organization.
                    So, now you have a idea, what a web-Interview or e-Interview is….?


1. Benefits of web-Interview or e-Interview

There are many benefits mainly,
  • You save time and money.
  • You have not to travel other cities.
  • You can appear from your home.
  • As you appear from your home you feel a homely environment.

2. Preparation before the interview

  • Review and research the Job specification and position description.
  • Learn about the organization by visiting their web page.
  • Decide a night before the interview what to wear.
3. At the time of interview

  • Be relax ! Think of a interview as a two way conversation, not an interrogation.
  • Greet the interviewer by looking at the camera, with a smile.
  • Be enthusiastic, confident, courteous and honest
  • Sit With Comfort.
  • Be within yourself. Don’t use vocabulary that you don’t understand or pretend to be someone you are not.
  • Stay on the topic and address the question that is being asked. If you don’t understand the question, ask for a clarification.
  • Listen to the question carefully and give a clear, concise, and thoughtful answer.
  • Think before you speak, answer each question clearly and use specific examples rather than general statements.
  • Provide information about education, skills and work experience if any.
  • Give warm thanks after the end of interview.

4. Post Interview (After Interview)

After interview write down your thoughts, what type of questions were asked and how you responded. Keep these notes as a guide for further interviews.

5. Some more tips on preparation

  • Prepare answers to commonly asked interview questions.
  • Be well groomed and well rested, neat and trimmed hairs.
  • Treat this type of interview as you would have a face to face interview.
  • Wear colour cloths which will shop up better on the screen. Don’t wear reflective jewellery.
  • Stay stationary in front of the camera, and avoid chairs that rock or spin.
  • Address your answers to the camera not the screen.
  • Listen carefully to the question and instructions asking the interviewer to repeat anything you don’t understand.

  • Gather information about the company or institution.
  • Prepare questions and practice their answers.
  • Dress appropriately.
  • Maintain eye contact by looking at the camera.                        
  • Always be positive.
  • Be honest.
  • Show that you like working as a team.
  • Use your and other’s time wisely.

Don’ts
  • Do not neglect appearance.
  • Do not neglect posture.
  • Do not lack energy levels.
  • Don’t be rude.
  • Don’t be too familiar.
  • Don’t give unknown or vague answer.
  • Don’t emphasize money particularly salary.
  • Don’t be indecisive.
  • Don’t be unprepared.

  • Don’t be possessive and aggressive.

7. Dressing for Success

Dressing for Man:-
  • Neck tie should be silk with a conservative pattern.
  • Get a haircut; short hair always fares best in interview.
  • No beard.
  • Mustaches are a possible negative, but you make sure it is neat and trimmed. No rings other than wedding ring.
  • No earrings or other visible body piercing.(If you normally wear one; take it out)

Dressing for Woman:-

  • Always wear a suit with a jacket.
  • No purses, small or large.
  • If you use nail polish, use clear or conservative colour.
  • Minimal use of make-up(It should not be too noticeable)
  • No more than one ring at each hand finger.
  • One set of earrings only(Not hanging one)


8. Technical preparation before a e-Interview

  1. Power supply. Have a power back up attached to your computer for a unforeseen situations of power breakups.
  2. Make sure that the connections to the internet is well established, otherwise there may be a situations to get disconnected during the interview procedure.
  3. Give a check up to all the connections, cables etc.
  4. Check the camera, speaker, mike is working properly.
  5. Put the web camera at a appropriate location.
  6. Select a well furnished room where you can set your computer and accessories.
  7. Remove all unwanted things (which may be seen to the interviewer and they may get distracted) from the background.
  8. Set up your system at a proper and convenient height.
  9. Place and set your web camera, at a proper height where you are going to be seated.
  10. Use mike instead of headphones.

Moderate posioning :- Vomiting,blurred vision,stomach cramp,palpitation,breathing difficulty,excessive sweating,trembling and contriction of pupils.

 Busy Schedule in today’s  lifestyle,Most of man have less time for himself. It is very difficult to find a person, who will take care of you. 1. Do not criticize.

A true criticism is liked by people, but is not essential that, it applies on your Fiancee(Partner).It is seen that a general suggestion can make your Partner angry. Intrusion in personal habit of eating, wearing etc. can make your partner angry. So behave him/her with a friendly attitude.

2. Give importance to your Fiancée or Partner, as much you give to your carrier.

If you have promised to go with your Partner, for shopping, lunch/dinner or for any other things. Be there at time and avoid being late. If Builder has constructed the building on Land which was used for agriculture before.You must find,have the builder taken permission from the Department of State Land Revenue on recommendation of Department of Town and Country Planning.Otherwise this authorities can issue order to dismantle the construction on the basis of illegally changing Land use of agriculture to housing purpose.Same is the case if the land come under city green belt or entertainment zone of the city.

2. Land Nomination Transfer

If the Builder or Colonizer has purchased the land from some other party.Find out whether the Builder is having Land Nomination transfer with Him.Otherwise someone will claim on that land and the dispute will go into court for lengthening judgment process.

3. Permission for the Plan of Building

 For any Building Construction,Apartment or House it is mandatory to take permission from City Corporation or related Authority.Such as Town and Country Planning.Only after taking permission Builder can do the construction.In most of the cases Corporation does not gives mush care to the height of the Building and illegal construction,and the Builder uses this opportunity for their advantage and illegally construct high rise building.Prior to purchasing a Flat in a building or apartment find out whether Corporation has given permission and You should also find out about the Flat You are going to purchase,was it constructed according to permitted plan or there is any change made in it.If there is any change done;have the permission taken.Consider every thing which can be illegal,otherwise the Corporation will take action on You;if the Builder has sold the Flat to You with illegal construction.
          
 4. Letter of Disapproval

Every Corporation gives a letter of disapproval along with the permission of construction.This letter mentions under which condition plan of building can be disapproved.This letter is issued for one year.Therefore it is also important to know whether Corporation has send any disapproval letter to the Builder.If Corporation have send such letter;find out ,what they have mentioned on it.
5. Permission Certificate

You can also find whether the Builder have the permission to start the construction.Like letter of disapproval,validity of permission certificate is for one year;in course of time Builder has to renew this certificate.Check the renewal ,if the one year validity is completed.

          
6. Letter of Agreement

Agreement letter is a important document related to Your property which You must give a big consideration.Read carefully each and every point written on it.This document contains floor area of your flat or house,house number,wing,built up area,mode of payment and also date of inauguration of Your home written on it.This is the only document which mentions contract of selling and purchasing between seller and buyer.

7. Stamp Duty

If Complete Stamp Duty is not have been paid then all document of plot,Flat or house will be considered illegal.In such case penalty can also be charged.Stamp Duty is paid according to the Agreement letter or Market Value,whichever is higher.This amount should be paid during or prior to agreement.

           
 8. Registration

You have to register the agreement with the payment of stamp duty.This should be done within four to six month at Registrar Office If due to any reason You are late in above given time period,Registrar can register it with some penalty.Do not ignore this process under any condition.The department of registry is trying to computerized this process for convenience even if You have paid huge amount of Money.One more important point,enquiry from Registrar Office that the Flat or House You are going to purchase;is that  property also sold o someone else,there are chances at many occasions Builder sells one property to many.Query everything minutely.

           
9. Possession Certificate

You and Your Family will be busy,going to celebrate the Joy and Happiness of purchasing Dream Home.Before celebrating find whether the Corporation or Authority have issued the Possession Certificate.Before inauguration of Your Dream Home it is necessary ,You should get possession certificate otherwise You will be facing difficulties.You would not like the authorities to disconnect Your water supply and electricity supplies and You have to pay the penalty for re-continuation of water and power supply.

          
10. Ownership of Property

By taking decision of purchasing property and after making payment of Money,You would like to have ownership of property as early as possible.Though Smart people first look whether the property is as completely like,which was told before purchasing.Are the related documents are exactly correct according to Law.Before taking ownership of property check every thing related to Your Dream Home.Find is there any thing which was promised and not one.Beside it get all original documents related to Your Dream Home such as Registry,receipts etc of Your Flat,House or Plot.Keep all the receipts in your safe custody.Before entering in Your New Home get receipts of electricity,water supply;if any receipt and never forget to take property ownership receipt from Your Builder.keep every document with You which is related to Corporation or Legal Authority,Builder,Housing Society,and Government transactions.One more important thing,if your Flat or house is in a Society,take a copy of society record in your name.This will be beneficial for YOU
